Happy Holidays

Such a fun week reading some of our favorite holiday books and making crafts to go along with them! We also had a special visit from Auntie Claus and a wonderful holiday strings performance. We hope everyone has a nice holiday with family and friends and we will see you in 2016!!!

We are so thankful for our wonderful students and parents! We enjoyed a nice day of food, fun, crafts and a little bit of dancing :). 

Reading Test Taking Ring Leaders

Congratulations to these awesome students for being our first nine weeks Reading Test Taking Ring Leaders! We are so proud of their strategy work that we celebrated with a pizza party :). Keep up the great work! 

Sketchnoting Techniques

Sketch noting is visual note-taking. It enhances your memory because you have access to visual and verbal cues to help you access what you know. It's more engaging to participate in while note taking and more engaging to review later which continues to help solidify your understanding. Checkout the awesome job our kids while we read the Book of the Month, Mr. Ferris and His Wheel. 

Fall Literary Pumpkins

We just love this time of year! Our class loves the According to Humphrey series so it was just fitting that our pumpkin be Humphrey 😃!
